This week, the Mesa County Commissioners and County staff continue to celebrate the life of Bruce Edward Lohmiller, a dedicated citizen and bright spirit who brought joy and laughter to many in our community.

Veterans Day is a great time to reflect, appreciate, and extend our support to the heroes who have served our nation.

Certain apple puree and applesauce products are being recalled due to a potential of elevated lead levels. The FDA is currently investigating reports of four children with elevated blood lead levels, indicating potential acute lead toxicity.

On Nov. 7, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners came together to pay tribute to the life and contributions of Bruce Edward Lohmiller, who was born on Feb. 8, 1954, and sadly passed away on Oct. 9, 2023.

The Clifton Community Campus, a special place just for our community, is set to open its doors in 2024. Inside the campus is a fantastic school for young kids, a place for adults to learn new skills, and a fun space for everyone to come together. It's all designed with our neighbors in mind, and we can't wait to see it in action!

The Mesa County Community Services campus begins its new hours of operation on Monday, November 6th, 2023. The new hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. – noon.
